About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client, a leading logistics company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Developer to join their dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. In this critical role, the individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and implementation of software solutions within JAS
- Internal and external (client) support
- Writing and implementing quality and high performing code
- Writing and implementing high quality unit tests
- Development, maintenance and implementation of software tools, processes, and procedures
- Research and development
- Testing and evaluating new technologies
- Identification of improvement areas
- Assist with peer and code reviews
- Collaboration with developers from other teams to implement the best solutions possible
- High level of expertise required in all aspects of development
- High level of flexibility required
- Server Updates
- Assist with the Hiring Process
Requirements
- C#
- .NET
- Dapper and Entity Framework Core
- Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- WCF and Rest Web Services
- APIs (REST, GraphQL, OData)
- Azure DevOps, Azure Function Apps, Azure Logic Apps and Azure Web Apps.
- TDD (beneficial)
- GitLab (beneficial)
- Software Architectural Design Patterns and implementation of such
- Project and Product Management
Qualifications
BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
