Job Description

This role is ideally suited to someone with excellent communication skills and proven central reservations experience, with a sales mindset and who is target-driven. 

Core Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Hospitality and Tourism (preferred) 
  • 5 years of experience in a central reservations environment
  • Must be well-versed in booking systems, with a strong preference for Benson experience
  • Must be computer literate with experience using Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have strong time-management and organisational skills
  • Sales oriented and target-driven

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end reservations for a portfolio of luxury boutique lodges and retreats, from initial enquiry to confirmed booking
  • Handle high volumes of reservations enquiries via email, phone, and online channels with professionalism and efficiency
  • Utilise the reservations system to accurately create, amend, and maintain bookings and guest profiles
  • Maximise revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and conversion of enquiries, in line with sales targets and KPIs
  • Provide clear, accurate information on rates, availability, packages, policies, and lodge offerings
  • Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of guest details, billing, and special requirements
  • Build rapport with guests and agents to deliver a personalised, luxury booking experience
  • Liaise closely with lodge teams and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction
  • Track, report on, and work towards individual and team sales targets
  • Manage time effectively to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain service standards during peak periods
