Restaurant & Bar Manager | Luxury Hotel Group | Cape Town
Salary: R35,000 per month
Location: Cape Town
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant and Bar Manager to join a prestigious luxury hotel group in Cape Town. This role requires a passionate hospitality professional with exceptional leadership and service skills to oversee and elevate the food and beverage experience for discerning guests.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the restaurant and bar to ensure seamless, high-quality service.

Lead, train, and motivate the service team to consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Ensure all food and beverage offerings align with the hotels brand standards.
-
Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, providing personalized service and enhancing satisfaction.
-
Oversee inventory, ordering, and stock control of food, beverages, and equipment.
-
Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, health, and safety protocols.
-
Drive revenue and profitability through strategic promotions and upselling techniques.
-
Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
-
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to coordinate service delivery.

Maintain accurate reporting on sales, expenses, and operational performance.
Requirements
-
35 years experience in a similar management role within luxury hospitality.
-
Strong leadership and people management skills.
-
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
-
Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, service standards, and cost control.
-
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
-
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
-
Proficiency in restaurant and bar software systems is an advantage.

Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
