Cape Town – Western Cape – South Africa
- Define and execute a winning go-to-market strategy, aligning bespoke software solutions with industry pain points.
- Partially own the P&L of the business unit with responsibility for revenue growth, cost control, and profitability.
- Partially create and grow the sales and business development teams, ensuring high-performance culture and accountability.
- Rebuild and implement a high-impact sales strategy (B2B, channel, and strategic accounts).
- Identify and penetrate new verticals including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and e-commerce.
- Establish scalable sales processes, CRM discipline, forecasting, and performance metrics. Also ensure disciplined adherence to these processes.
- Review the current software and solution offering and identify adjacent opportunities and potential partnerships.
- Engage and nurture strategic customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to decision-makers.
- Work closely with Development and Technology teams to influence product roadmap based on market insights.
- Elevate the companys market presence and thought leadership in the Bespoke Software Development, digital transformation, and custom tech solutions space.
- Represent the company at industry events, panels, and client briefings.
- Relevant Degree or Diploma.
- 5+ Years in Sales and/or general management roles within SaaS, custom software, digital transformation, or B2B technology sectors.
- Individual needs to have experience in building a software/solution business.
- Demonstrated success and experience in scaling a business.
- Strong commercial acumen with direct experience managing budgets, revenue targets, and teams.
- Expertise in solution selling, enterprise sales, and building consultative sales strategies.
- Understanding of South African public and private sector sales cycles.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
- Experience in bespoke software development, agile methodologies, cloud computing, or related technologies is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Resilient, adaptable, and energised by challenge and ownership.
- Demonstrates visionary thinking and sound commercial judgment, with the ability to make decisive calls under pressure. Builds and nurtures high-performing teams, takes full ownership of outcomes, and drives strategic alignment across the business.
- Embodies a customer-first approach, with strong influencing skills and the agility to adapt in dynamic markets. Maintains a disciplined focus on performance, process optimization, and consistent execution across sales channels.
- Proactively identifies new opportunities and partnerships, fostering innovation and sustainable expansion. Leads collaboratively across functions, builds resilient relationships, and thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
