SALARY: R26 000 – R29 000 Neg.(DOE)CTC
Provider Market Sector of high-end luxury architectural design, finishing fabrics, textiles and High-End Decor. Specializing in exclusive products, directed for Architects, Interior Designers, and discerning homeowners seeking sophisticated, high-quality fabrics and furnishings.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Promotes and sell merchandise, sample books and partnership programmers to customers in the allocated area and develops new business in order to meet sales targets
Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate. (Mandatory)
- Diploma in Interior design, or related field (advantageous).
- Drivers License, own vehicle, is a must.
- Experience in International/High End Luxury home decor Brands.
- Min 2 years of experience in in Sales, Architects & Interior Designs.
- Own reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license
- Role requiring travel and client engagement on the road,
- Administrating/production coordinating role, or a related role within the retail sector.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Sales, Product Knowledge, Negotiation skills, Presentation Skills, Database Management, Market Research, Campaign Implementation, Branding, Public Relations & Publicity, Report Writing skills
MAIN DUTIES:
- Sales KPIs are met according to targets
- Weekly call reports provided
- Customer needs identified
- Advice provided on the appropriate selection, price and care of products
- Orders taken and referred to Sales Administrators
- Samples and product ranges demonstrated, and orders taken
- Excellent product knowledge demonstrated
- New products, specials and promotions highlighted
- Customer accounts opened according to policy
- Partnership forms and account applications completed according to policy
- Policies and procedures are followed (including showroom)
- Budget set in collaboration with National Sales Manager and Sales Support Manager
- Weekly sales meetings attended
- Weekly reports submitted (sales, market and competitor activity)
- Sales leads identified and contact made
- Industry related exhibitions and workshops attended
- Customer needs identified and Sales/ Area Manager informed
- Samples and product ranges demonstrated
- Client base increased
- Awareness of brand increased
- Issues and queries dealt with promptly and courteously
- Regular feedback on queries and delivery dates provided
- Operational problems flagged with Sales/ Area Manager
- Complaints managed and flagged with Sales/ Area Manager
- Customer expectations met
- Feedback on special orders collected and Sales/ Area Manager
- Payments followed up
