What you will do:

1. Video Editing and Post-Production:
   • Edit raw video footage into polished, professional content, including:
   • Educational video lessons
   • Marketing and promotional videos
   • Social media and advertising assets
   • Podcasts and webinars
2. Incorporate motion graphics, transitions, animations and other enhancements to elevate content quality
3. Perform colour grading, audio balancing and final rendering for distribution
4. Creative Storytelling:
   • Transform scripts and creative briefs into compelling visual narratives
   • Suggest innovative approaches to content presentation that align with audience needs and platform requirements
5. Content Optimisation:
   • Adapt content for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn
   • Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent style across projects
6. Team Collaboration:
   • Work closely with the content team, scriptwriters, designers and marketing teams to understand project objectives
   • Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh ideas to the table
7. File Organisation and Delivery:
   • Manage and maintain an organised library of video files, assets and project backups
   • Ensure timely delivery of projects, accommodating revisions when necessary
8. Staying Current:
   • Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, tools and techniques
   • Experiment with emerging styles and technologies to keep content fresh and engaging

What you must have:

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in video editing with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects
• Expertise in industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
• Strong understanding of motion graphics and animation tools, such as Adobe After Effects
• Proven ability to adapt content for various platforms and audiences
• Solid skills in colour grading, sound design and storytelling
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and deadlines

Preferred:

• Experience in creating educational, advertising, or e-commerce video content
• Familiarity with audio editing tools (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity)
• Understanding of social media trends and video marketing strategies
• Basic knowledge of video production, including camera and lighting setups
