Job Summary

As a z/OS Systems Programmer, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of IBM z/OS mainframe systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our organizations mainframe environment.
Responsibilities
Installation, configuration, maintenance, customization and upgrades of zOS environments.
Communicate the business impact of major incidents.
Diagnose zOS system and related product issues and follow up with root cause analysis.
Providing support for z/OS operating system.
Prioritize major incidents based on business impact to the client.
Provide assistance with identifying problem management trends.


Requirements

5+ years experience in z/OS system programming.
Experience in z/OS security (Top Secret).
Experience working on JCL, REXX.
Experience in working with z/OS subsystems (CICS, IMS, MVS, DB2, MQ, JES).
Working knowledge of z/OS, Unix System Services, SMP/E, REXX, Java, VSAM, Third party products.
Experience in mainframe storage solutions and database technologies including ISAM, VSAM, IMS, DB2.
