Centurion: Business Intelligence Developer

Job description: Our client is looking for a junior BI developer who believes they are ready to move up to the next level. This role will give you the opportunity to grow and be involved all the way from business requirements through to data modelling, ETLs, integration and reporting. Your excellent problem-solving ability combined with a very strong numeracy competence will set you apart. Responsibilities: Analyse and transform data sets from various business systems and 3rd party data sources and consolidate it in meaningful BI models Perform data cleaning and preparation Gain an understanding of the business to solve problems using data General data integrity checks Report development including complex financial reports Monthly reporting to management Dashboard development General day-to-day ad hoc queries Minimum requirements: Relevant degree BI developer experience SQL Reporting Advantageous requirements: Experience in either (QlikView, QlikSense, PowerBi, Python) Any Cloud exposure (Azure/AWS) Agile / SCRUM experience Talend Snowflake Development experience (C#, Python, Java, Angular) Financial services experience Competencies required: Planning/organising and coordinating skills Interpersonal skills (Interaction with different business divisions and level of management) Communication skills (verbal and written) Solutions driven Industry specific knowledge Strong analytical skills Outstanding numeracy skills Applying technical expertise and researching Acute computer skills Time management skills Creativity and innovating Should you not receive a response from us within one week of your application, your application has unfortunately not been successful.
