Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Centurion to join our team at Communicate Finance as a Campus Bursar. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations and supporting campus leadership with budgeting and expense management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage billing accuracy, procurement, accounts payable and debt collection
Prepare reconciliations and monthly reports, ensuring financial deadlines are met
Act as a link between the campus and central shared services
Engage professionally with parents, staff and multiple departments on finance-related matters

Requirements

Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, hlookups, pivot tables – non-negotiable)
Strong administrative ability with excellent attention to detail
Resilient, deadline-driven and comfortable with high levels of multitasking
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to function in a pressured, fast-moving environment

Qualifications

Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in a finance or bookkeeping-related role

SAIPA (or similar professional affiliation) advantageous

Degree or Diploma in Finance
