Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Generate commercial business quotations based on adviser input. Ensure accurate client information (company details, registration numbers, contact information). Prepare comprehensive quotation files, including application forms, comparison quotes, and required FAIS documents. Activate accepted quotations with chosen product providers and ensure smooth processing. Organize and send out welcome packs with necessary policy documents to clients. Maintain accurate records in myPractice, including uploading all relevant documents. Handle day-to-day underwriting requests and ensure updates are promptly communicated to advisers and providers. Manage the renewal process, including preparing renewal packs, negotiating terms, and updating policies. Work closely with the commercial underwriting team once the first debit order is confirmed. Ensure all processes are followed correctly and request assistance when necessary. Minimum
Requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience within the short-term insurance industry. Proficient in both spoken and written English, and at least one other official South African language. Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office. NQF Level 4 Short-Term Insurance qualification or currently studying towards completion. FSCA confirmation (DOFA) and successful completion of the RE 5 Examination. Competencies Required: Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities. High attention to detail, with the ability to manage pressure. Strong client service orientation and excellent negotiation skills. Team player with effective communication skills.
