Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Prepare & review journals and manage General Ledger reconciliations
- Own the full accounting function and consolidation packs within scope
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies
- Contribute to the implementation of new IFRS standards and technical frameworks
- Prepare financial statements for group and standalone entities in line with IFRS & JSE listing requirements
- Liaise with auditors, manage intercompany reconciliations, and resolve complex financial issues
- Drive improvements in reporting systems and financial processes
Requirements:
- CA(SA) with 2–3 years’ post-article experience
- Minimum 2 years of IFRS reporting/advisory experience
- Group consolidation and technical accounting experience is a strong advantage
- Previous exposure to IFRS consolidation systems beneficial
- IFRS 17 knowledge highly advantageous
- Proven ability to engage with executive and senior stakeholders
