Job Description
Hire Resolves client in the FMCG industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a IT Applications Executive in Centurion, Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the IT applications strategy, ensuring it aligns with business needs and digital transformation goals.
- Identify and integrate emerging technologies that enhance business value and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of all business applications (including ERP, MES, WMS, and other functional solutions), ensuring they are scalable, available, secure, and perform optimally.
- Lead the planning and execution of enterprise projects, ensuring delivery within time, budget, and scope.
- Establish clear project governance frameworks and success metrics for all initiatives.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to capture requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and manage application service providers.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing application support and development team.
- Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure the application landscape complies with IT governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead risk assessments and mitigation strategies for all application initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree (MBA) or certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are considered advantageous.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of IT experience.
- Include at least 5 years in senior leadership roles within the manufacturing sector.
- Experience in the FMCG or food industry is preferred.
- Demonstrate proven experience in delivering enterprise IT solutions.
- Have experience leading ERP (SAP) and non-SAP implementations.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of SAP ERP.
- Have an in-depth understanding of supply chain and production systems.
- Be proficient in business intelligence.
- Be proficient in integration platforms.
- Be familiar with cloud platforms.
- Be familiar with cybersecurity best practices.
