Job Summary
IT Project Co-ordinator required in Centurion, on a hybrid working model (3 days in office) for a 12-month contract within the telecommunications industry. The IT Project Co-ordinator will be responsible for coordinating and tracking progress on multiple telecom IT projects, monitoring timelines and deliverables, and providing regular status reports to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and align WBS plans from product backlogs or scopes.
- Facilitate and gather inputs to develop realistic, achievable project schedules (Waterfall, Agile).
- Work with stakeholders to chart clear project milestones.
- Monitor the critical path and dependencies.
- Report on deviations, risks, and progress.
- Sync costs to approved business cases.
- Keep schedules updated and governance-approved.
- Coordinating and tracking progress on multiple telecom IT projects.
- Monitoring project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
- Providing regular and accurate reports on project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders.
- Analyse project data to identify areas for improvement and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Assist with identifying risks and proposing solutions.
- Managing and coordinate project tasks, timelines, and deliverables for multiple telecom TAC projects.
Requirements:
- IT Project Management Qualification.
- MS Project 2010+ Certification.
- Agile training from a recognised institution.
- 3-5 years experience scheduling projects/programmes.
- Attention to detail.
- Analytical Thinker.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.
- Advanced scheduling skills: Critical Path Method.
