Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer with petrochemical experience to support the design, analysis, and execution of plant engineering projects. The successful candidate will contribute to equipment design, plant modifications, maintenance support, and technical documentation within operational processing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in mechanical design and plant engineering projects.
– Prepare technical specifications, calculations, and reports.
– Support equipment selection and sizing activities.
– Review supplier drawings and technical submissions.
– Participate in site inspections and condition assessments.
– Assist in troubleshooting plant equipment failures.
– Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
– Collaborate with process, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
– Contribute to commissioning and plant support activities.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BSc).
– Minimum of 4–6 years’ experience in petrochemical or process plant environments.
– Familiarity with pumps, compressors, piping systems, and pressure equipment.
– Understanding of relevant codes and industry best practices.
– Experience working in operational plant environments advantageous.
– ECSA registration or candidacy preferred.
– Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
– Good technical report writing and communication ability.
