Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of all mechanical workshops nationwide. Develop and implement operational procedures to standardize workshop activities. Monitor workshop performance and ensure efficiency in service delivery. Coordinate with regional workshop managers to align objectives and strategies. Technical & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all repairs and maintenance activities meet industry standards and company policies. Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections. Keep up to date with the latest mechanical technologies and ensure workshops are well-equipped. Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure all workshops adhere to health and safety regulations. Develop and implement safety training programs for workshop staff. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Financial Management: Develop and manage workshop budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations. Optimize resource allocation and control expenses. Analyze financial reports and implement cost-saving initiatives. People Management: Lead, train, and develop a team of workshop managers, mechanics, and technicians. Establish performance targets and conduct regular evaluations. Promote a positive work environment and ensure team motivation and engagement. Customer Service & Stakeholder Management: Ensure excellent customer service and quick resolution of service-related issues. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external partners. Work closely with other departments to align workshop operations with business objectives. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of [10] years of experience in a managerial role within a mechanical workshop environment. Strong knowledge of workshop operations, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes. Proven leadership and team management skills. Familiarity with health and safety regulations. Budget management and cost-control experience. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Key Competencies: Leadership and decision-making abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple workshops effectively. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and quality assurance. Working Conditions: Travel may be required to visit different workshop locations. Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
