Centurion: SAIPA Article Clerk / Junior Accountant

A well-established Auditing & Accounting Firm based in Centurion is seeking a fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English), SAIPA Article Clerk or Junior Accountant to join their growing team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has completed their SAIPA Articles or an individual who is currently studying toward an Accounting degree and eager to pursue their SAIPA Articles within a professional, supportive environment. Benefits & Remuneration: Basic salary (market-related, based on experience) Medical aid contribution Cell phone allowance Travel allowance for occasional client visits Full SAIPA training, guidance, and mentorship Structured career development within a reputable firm Key Responsibilities: Assist with monthly bookkeeping and processing Perform bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations Prepare VAT, PAYE, and other SARS submissions Assist with drafting financial statements under supervision Support with annual returns and tax calculations Liaise with clients professionally when needed Provide support to senior accountants and audit staff Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of tasks Grade 12 / Matric Completed SAIPA Articles, OR currently studying towards an Accounting degree, and wanting to commence SAIPA Articles 02 years relevant accounting work experience (advantageous) Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (written & spoken) Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Computer literate, especially in MS Excel Experience with accounting programs such as Pastel, Sage (advantageous) High attention to detail, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team
