Job Description

Lead, mentor, and support service technicians for optimal performance and professional growth Oversee daily service operations, including job allocation and resource planning Ensure timely, high-quality maintenance and repair of refrigeration and compressor systems Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and response times Manage KPIs, budgets, and service reports to drive operational excellence Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in industrial refrigeration or rotating equipment maintenance At least 2 years in a leadership or service management role Strong technical expertise in compressors, electrical systems, and PLC controls Proven ability to lead field teams and improve service quality Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Qualification: Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Valid SAQCC Gas Category B8 license (advantageous) Solid foundation in compressor maintenance and industrial refrigeration systems Valid drivers license with willingness to travel locally and internationally Demonstrated experience in service management or supervisory roles Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered. Job Description

Lead, mentor, and support service technicians to ensure optimal performance and professional growth Oversee daily service operations, job allocation, and resource planning to meet customer demands Ensure timely and high-quality maintenance and repair of industrial refrigeration and compressor systems Drive process improvements to enhance response times, safety, and cost efficiency Manage departmental KPIs, budgets, and service reports for continuous operational improvement Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all service activities Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in industrial refrigeration or rotating equipment maintenance At least 2 years in a leadership or service management capacity Strong technical background in compressors, electrical systems, and PLC control technologies Proven ability to lead field teams and drive service quality improvements Excellent communication and organizational skills Emotionally intelligent leader with a calm, solutions-oriented approach Proficient in service management and CMMS platforms Qualification: Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Valid SAQCC Gas Category B8 license (Ammonia refrigeration) is advantageous Minimum of 5 years experience in a service management or supervisory role Solid foundation in compressor maintenance and industrial refrigeration systems Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally and internationally as required Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered. Job Description

Job Description: Lead and coordinate maintenance and repair activities on ammonia refrigeration systems Ensure all work complies with safety, regulatory, and performance standards (SANS, PER, OSHA) Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime Analyse system data to identify trends, improve performance, and enhance reliability Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of refrigeration technicians and apprentices Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet client and project demands Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and technical support Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in industrial refrigeration or rotating equipment maintenance At least 2 years in a leadership or service management capacity Strong technical background in compressors, electrical systems, and PLC control technologies Proven ability to lead field teams and drive service quality improvements Excellent communication and organizational skills. Emotionally intelligent leader with a calm, solutions-oriented approach Proficient in service management and CMMS platforms Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent) Trade Test in Industrial Refrigeration (advantageous) Valid SAQCC Gas Category B8 License (advantageous) Valid Code B drivers license and clean record Additional training in electrical or control systems will be beneficial Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
