About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Centurion: Service Manager to lead our industrial refrigeration and compressor service operations. As a seasoned leader, you will provide strong guidance and mentorship to our service technicians, fostering continuous professional development and high performance. You will be responsible for driving process improvements, ensuring timely and high-quality maintenance and repair of our systems, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day service operations, including job scheduling, workforce planning, and effective resource allocation
- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to service technicians, fostering continuous professional development and high performance
- Ensure timely, high-quality maintenance and repair of refrigeration and compressor systems in line with company and industry standards
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and service response times
- Monitor key performance indicators, manage service budgets, and prepare detailed service reports to support operational excellence and informed decision-making
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial refrigeration or rotating equipment maintenance
- At least 2 years experience in a leadership or service management role
- Strong technical expertise in compressors, electrical systems, and PLC controls
- Proven ability to lead field service teams and consistently improve service quality
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- SAQCC Gas Category B8 license (advantageous)
- Strong foundation in compressor maintenance and industrial refrigeration systems
- Valid drivers license with flexibility to travel locally and internationally
- Proven experience in service management or supervisory roles
