Purpose of the Role:

As a Specialist Analyst, you will play a key role in enforcing regulatory standards across the financial sector with a special focus on Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASPs). You’ll report directly to the Manager and contribute to oversight, compliance evaluation, and risk identification in this fast-evolving space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse FSP financial statements and statutory returns
• Identify and report non-compliance and financial risks
• Monitor trends and regulatory developments in the crypto market
• Identify and report trends in the financial services sector
• Identify financial risks based on analysis of financial statements and other financial information 
• Conduct risk-based onsite inspections
• Investigate crypto compliance breaches and make recommendations and submit reports
• Support team members with analysis of other forms of financial reports 
• Conduct onsite inspection in terms of risk-based supervision approach 
• Engage with stakeholders and assist in ad-hoc projects

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Law, or related field
• 3 to 4 years’ experience in Financial Services industry 
• Strong understanding of the FAIS Act, FSR Act and CASP regulations
