Job Description:
Pursue tax refunds
Respond to and manage tax audits
Prepare, plan and submit Voluntary disclosures
Manage (and be accountable for) in country tax consultants performing above activities
Assess reports received from consultants for risks identified
Transfer pricing
Agreements review
Calculate income tax and deferred tax for accruals and provisional taxes
Ensuring accuracy relevant tax accounts in trial balance
Maintain group tracking schedules
Prepare status reports for management and shareholders
Status Reporting
Maintain open item statuses accurately
Assist wider finance team as required
Keep abreast of tax regulatory developments in all relevant countries
Consult on tax impact of proposed changes

Skills & Experience:
3+ years post articles experience in tax, in a Multinational Group, or accounting and tax practice
Completed articles, preferably in tax practice
Advanced MS Excel skills
Detail driven and self-motivated
Able to work independently and part of a team
Good time management skills
Able to work under pressure

Qualification:
BCom
Post graduate in tax
SAIT, SAIPA, ACCA, SAIBA, AGA(SA), CA (SA), or equivalent
