The Global Business Development Consultant is adept at cultivating relationships with clients and stakeholders across various geographical locations, navigating high-pressure environments with ease. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, they drive revenue growth, enhance market presence, and foster enduring client partnerships on a global scale. Grade 12 or Equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Strong understanding of business principles, market dynamics and industry trends Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strategic thinker with analytical and problem -solving abilities. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and driving business growth. Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management within a competitive B2B environment across various global geographical locations. 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in Technology services or consultative environments, with a track record of operating efficiently in diverse cultural settings. Experience engaging and influencing C-level executives across different regions and cultures. Proven ability to manage and forecast complex sales processes accurately, taking into account regional variations and market dynamics. Proficiency in engaging C-level executives within large and medium enterprises worldwide to align IT Resourcing and Talent solutions with mission-critical ICT priorities. Full-cycle sales management, from prospecting to deal closure, with swift transition to account management post-deal closure in international markets. Consistently drive high levels of activity to maintain a robust deal pipeline across global regions. Creative, upbeat, and innovative approach to effectively communicate key business messages, adaptable to cultural nuances and complexities. Strong knowledge of pursuit or other relationship/sales methodologies tailored for global markets. Experience with CRM software, Salesforce for tracking and forecasting, and proficiency in sales management tools and Microsoft Office, adaptable to international operations. Ability to navigate long sales cycles with complex financial data and a strong grasp of financials, profitability, and cash flow, considering regional variations. Proficiency in sales forecasting and goal-setting techniques adapted for diverse global markets. Understanding of high-value selling models with a keen awareness of cultural differences and the ability to navigate complexities in international business environments. Identify and research potential business opportunities through market analysis, client referrals and networking. Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company objective and revenue targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Conduct presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure new business opportunities. Collaborate with marketing, product development, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities and market developments to identify new opportunities for growth. Prepare regular reports and analysis on business development activities, including pipeline management and performance metrics. Represent the company at industry events, networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads. Provide sales guidance, support, and mentor Account Managers to grow their existing accounts. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and optimize business development efforts to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Identifying strategic partners, stakeholders and new revenue streams to achieve the annual budget.

This position will act as the brand ambassador of the business brand to target clients. The BDC is expected to build long-lasting, profitable relationships with clients, always striving to find the solutions which best fit the specific needs of individual clients. Grade 12 or Equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification A proven track record in business development and client relationship management in a highly competitive, Business to Business environment. 3-5 years’ B2B sales experience, preferably within Technology services or a consultative environment Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sales process Engage only with C-level executives within the large and medium enterprise marketplace to navigate through how IT Resourcing and Talent solutions can assist them in achieving their mission-critical ICT priorities Manage the full sales cycle, from finding prospects through to closure, and eventually transition new accounts across to the account management team within one month of closing the deal Drive consistently high levels of activity to ensure a strong pipeline of potential deals week over week The Business Development Consultant must be creative, upbeat and innovative and be able to effectively communicate key business messages to a diverse audience.
