Key Responsibilities
New Tenants
Source and engage with potential tenants and agents.
 
Send cost sheets, arrange viewings, and share vacancy schedules.
 
Load lease agreements on MDA and perform TPN checks.
 
Draft and follow up on offers to lease and final lease agreements.
 
Maintain professional communication throughout the leasing process.
 
Existing Tenants
Support tenant retention and handle lease renewals or terminations.
 
Manage tenant communication, including bulk emails and complaints.
 
Follow up on outstanding rentals and coordinate move-ins/move-outs.
 
Liaise with maintenance for unit readiness and post-inspection repairs.
 
Handle signage, building access, fibre setups, and general queries.
 
Building & Operational Support
Monitor cleaning and security staff performance and resolve issues.
 
Conduct site visits for recurring complaints.
 
Coordinate tenant-related projects and alterations with contractors.
 
Prepare rent rolls and log service requests with city utilities.
 
 
Requirements
Proven experience in retail/commercial leasing (non-negotiable).
 
Fluent in English & Afrikaans (spoken and written).
 
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
 
Experience with MRI Property Software or similar platforms.
