Job Description

Our client in the Media and Printing Industry is looking to hire a Sales Floor Team Leader.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead by example always
• One of your most important responsibilities will ensure your sales team achieves the sales targets set by management.
• Create a happy motivated environment that promotes open communication and healthy competitiveness.
• Provide reports as requested
• Ensure strong communication and feedback opportunities
• Provide coaching to increase capability of the Sales Consultants
• Handling client enquiries
• Promote and motivate staff to Up sell and use Add-on with every client
• Effective time managing of yourself and team members
• Manage the team to ensure a high level of work ethics and professionalism are displayed
• Assist team with their development and day to day requirements
• Monitor that all staff are adhering to company policies
• Report any disciplinary issues
• Ensure that every order is correctly taken in and that the correct information is given to customer and production.
• Communicate all relevant information to your staff for example but not limited to promotions running, out of stock items, product changes or price changes.
• Identifying challenges and suggest possible solutions.
• Make sure your staff knows their shift schedule and take breaks in a co-ordinated manner and adheres to it.
• Ensuring that the displays and counter areas are up to standard

Client Services
• Achieve a level of impeccable client service and make sure all your staff meets this goal.
• Ensure all staff has an acceptable level of product knowledge so they can advise clients correctly.
• Improve and suggest changes to ensure Client Satisfaction every single time.
• Manage queues and allocate clients to correct most fitting department.
• Ensure every client is acknowledges even if the staff is still busy with another client and won’t be able to assist immediately.
• Always be professional, friendly, and patient toward clients
• Ensure your staff communicates correct lead times and other relevant information.

Opening & Closing of Shop
• Keep to the Lock up schedule!
• When closing the shop ensure all doors are locked & the alarm is on.
• Two people need to be present when the shop is being locked.

Cash Management
• Keep to the Cash handling protocol at times.
• Ensure the floats are issued in the morning and locked up at end of day.
• The keys to the safe are not to be left on the premises.
