Responsibilities:

Guided Game Drives: Conducting informative and engaging game drives for lodge guests. Ensuring a high standard of guest experience during wildlife encounters. Sharing knowledge about flora, fauna, and conservation efforts. Team Leadership: Supervising and leading a team of rangers. Providing training and development opportunities for team members. Coordinating game drives to optimize guest experience. Wildlife Conservation: Collaborating with Reserve staff to monitor and contribute to wildlife conservation efforts. Educating guests and staff on the lodge`s conservation initiatives. Guest Relations: Interacting with guests in a professional and courteous manner. Handling guest queries and ensuring their safety during game activities. Safety and Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols during game drives to ensure the well-being of guests and staff. Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance: Overseeing the maintenance of safari vehicles and equipment. Conducting regular checks to ensure the safety and reliability of vehicles. Qualifications and

Requirements:

Previous experience as a senior guide or head ranger in a similar environment. Extensive knowledge of the Big Five and conservation practices. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. First Aid and Field Guide qualifications. Strong communication skills in English; additional languages may be an advantage. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
