Requirements:
Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the medical aid or financial sector, focusing on claims administrationStrong understanding and application of procedural processes, service level agreements, product benefits, and rulesExcellent interaction skills with internal and external parties (Collections, Commissions & Customer Care, IT, Insurers, and Policy Holders)Proficient in business writing and verbal communication both to internal and external stakeholdersComputer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Email, Word)Key Functions:Process Life (Funeral) claims InternallyAudit Non-Life claims processed by an external underwriterResolve claims enquiries and communicate claim status updates to relevant partiesPre- and Post-Assessment of Short-Term Claims:Scrutinize new claim forms for duplicates, premium payments, eligibility of dependants, supporting documentation, and updated contact details before submitting new claims to the claims underwriters and ensure that all documentation is uploaded into the MBS system.Ensure that communication is sent to relevant parties by the claims underwriters and comply with SLA requirements.Review all settlement and rejection claim notifications to ensure compliance with audit outcomes and escalate any irregularities to the claim underwriters.To apply, send your resume and a cover letter to Medway Marketing (Pty) Ltd
