About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Assistant FOH Manager to join our team at a luxury estate in Constantia, Cape Town. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will support the Senior FOH Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations across all aspects of food and beverage service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support FOH team members, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Ensure all food and beverage products are presented to company standards.
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Handle guest relations and address any service concerns promptly.
- Manage daily reservations and ensure accurate booking entries.
- Oversee cash-ups, handovers, and adherence to financial procedures.
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene compliance at all times.
- Monitor stock control and assist with daily counts and orders.
Requirements
- Matric Hospitality Diploma (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year in a similar supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal abilities
- High energy, adaptability, and attention to detail
- Basic POS and cash-handling experience
