Job Summary
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Proven work experience as an Ell developer Experience with multiple Ell tools and technologies such as Pentaho Suite(desired), Power Bl and SQLServer 4 years Ell development experience, with a focus on performance Proficiency in warehousing architecture techniques, including ODS, DM, and EDW Experience working with APls Experience in SQL query troubleshooting, performance monitoring and tuning Skills Agile and Scrum experience (desired) Hands-on software development and SQL experience Strong technical troubleshooting skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks Ability to communicate information to a non-technical audience Development in Pentaho suite including Pentaho Kettle, Pentaho Report Designer, Pentaho Metadata Editor, Schema Workbench and Pentaho Bl configuration. Data integration tools (ETL) (i.e. Pentaho Data Integration, DataStage, Informatica) The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Developing and implementing ETL processes, Data Integration and Business Intelligence solutions based on Pentaho Bl Platform. Developing and maintaining integration tools and utilities Testing databases and troubleshooting issues Expertise in writing technical designs, developing, unit testing, and break fix support of ETL and SQL objects (3rd Line Support) Work with various members of the team on an agile sprint schedule Participate in daily scrums, sprint feature estimating, and sprint demos Work closely with Product Owners Learn new skills and technologies as required -you are expected to continuously learn and up-skill Contribute expertise to the data modelling and architecture of solutions Salary : R500 000.00 R650 000.00 per annum for the contract duration Please email detailed CV and supporting documentation through to
