Job Summary

Minimum Requirements: Relevant qualification in Accounting or Credit Management or similar. 10 Years experience within a Debtors / Credit Management Function. Knowledge in Microsoft Navision or a similar ERP system. Proven Excel and reconciliation skills. Roles and Responsibilities: Take full accountability for the Debtors function, ensuring both strategic direction and hands-on execution. Monitor the age analysis daily, proactively following up on outstanding accounts to maintain optimal collections. Address and resolve customer disputes and queries with professionalism, tact, and resilience. Develop, implement, and enforce robust credit control policies, including client vetting and regular credit limit reviews. Foster strong cross-functional relationships to ensure accurate and timely billing and debt collection. Utilise Microsoft Navision for account reconciliation, payment allocation management, and report generation. Prepare and present regular reports on collections performance, cash flow status, and debtor trends to senior management. Lead and mentor the Debtors team, driving a culture of accountability and high performance. Contribute significantly to cash flow forecasting and broader financial planning initiatives. Represent the organisation with confidence and professionalism during high-stakes or potentially confrontational negotiations.
