1. Perform scheduled services, preventative maintenance, and repairs on diesel vehicles and equipment.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults.
3. Conduct major and minor overhauls on engines and related components.
4. Complete job cards, service reports, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
5. Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept in safe, clean condition.
6. Adhere to all company policies, safety, and compliance regulations.
7. Standby and call-out duties (as per operational requirements).

 
REQUIREMENTS

1. Grade 12
2. Diesel Mechanic Trade Test
3. 5 Years experience
4. Skilled in servicing, overhauling, and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
5. Ability to use diagnostic equipment, electronic fault-finding tools, and technical manuals.
6. Welding, fabrication, and auto-electrical experience (an added advantage)
7. Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems
