As the Raw Material Supply Chain Specialist, you’ll manage inbound raw materials and bulk liquids, oversee stock control processes, and ensure smooth operations across multiple warehouses and production sites.
You’ll gain exposure to complex inventory management, supplier collaboration, and internationally recognised standards (ISO 9001, FSSC 22, 000, HACCP). Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound raw materials and bulk liquids, including scheduling, receipt, and ERP processing
• Oversee inventory control, stocktakes, cycle counts, and surprise counts across multiple sites
• Drive compliance with food safety, quality, and ISO standards, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting
• Monitor and run Material Replenishment Plans for Durban and Johannesburg sites
• Lead supplier management activities to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries and manage returns
• Manage waste areas, health & safety protocols, and general warehouse compliance

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education:

• BCom in Supply Chain Management or related field (Essential)

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain and/or warehousing, preferably within FMCG
• Proven expertise in stock control, inbound logistics, and supplier management

Skills:

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, Index & Match)
• ERP experience – Syspro and Translution (Essential)
• Preferably proficient in Power BI

Other:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet strict deadlines
