Job Description
- Review, prepare, and negotiate civil engineering contracts, subcontracts, and variations.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Manage claims, disputes, and change orders effectively to minimize financial and legal risk.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to monitor project progress and contractual obligations.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, correspondence, and project documentation.
- Conduct risk assessments and advise senior management on mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the financial aspects of contracts, including cost control, invoicing, and budget monitoring.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff on contractual and administrative matters.
- Facilitate communication between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve contractual issues promptly.
- Ensure that all project deliverables are completed within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
