About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone fresh out of college with a BCom degree in Accounting or Finance, who is eager to kick-start their career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping and data entry
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Assist with reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare basic financial statements and reports
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements
- BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Fresh graduates are welcome
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
