Job Description
Job Title: Finance Clerk
Purpose of the Role:
To provide accurate and efficient financial and administrative support to the finance department, ensuring that all financial records are maintained in line with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capturing and processing invoices, payments, and journals
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts
- Maintaining accurate financial records and filing
- Assisting with month-end processing and reporting
- Handling queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Supporting the finance team with general administrative duties
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant finance or accounting qualification (advantageous)
- 24 years experience in a finance or accounting role
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
