Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Payroll Management: Process and manage full payroll cycle for all KZN employees
- Data Integrity: Collate, review and verify payroll information for completeness and accuracy
- Employee Database: Maintain accurate records including new starters, promotions, rate changes, and terminations
- Complex Calculations: Process overtime, garnishees, loans, allowances, advances, and commissions
- System Management: Maintain ESS setup on Sage system and manage timesheet systems
- Compliance: Ensure all payroll deadlines are met and discrepancies are resolved promptly
- Reporting: Generate and review all payroll reports and variance analyses
Essential Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 + National Diploma in Payroll Administration (or relevant qualification)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant payroll experience
- Systems: Sage 300 experience essential
- Skills: Excellent numeracy and literacy skills with strong attention to detail
