Job Description
Responsibilities include:
-
Arranging sign-offs and lab dips from China, ensuring ship and delivery dates are aligned
-
Managing bulk sampling timelines to ensure on-time delivery
-
Raising and processing fabric orders to China / suppliers
-
Tracking fabric shipments out of China
-
Monitoring fit-by and seal-by dates to ensure deadlines are met
Requirements:
-
Matric
-
Must have costing experience
-
Understanding of garment rating and fabric bases
-
Knowledge of garment construction (advantageous)
-
Ability to run cost sheets on SYNC
-
Good understanding of production processes
-
Strong computer literacy (spreadsheets, email, buyer / planner communication, follow-ups)
-
Excellent communication and coordination skills
-
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
