Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated App Developer to join their R&D department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and developing Flutter-based applications for multiple platforms. Your contributions will be essential in either enhancing existing apps or pioneering new software solutions.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, agile environment, adhering to project plans and scopes. There is also an opportunity to work with Python 3, and QT5 graphical interfaces, as the company uses Python 3 in many backend process and technical apps.
 
Required Skills:

• Flutter and Dart
• Working with TCP Sockets, and RESTful API.
• Comfortable on a Linux machine (OpenSUSE or Ubuntu) . There are no Microsoft Windows PC’s

 
Less Important Requirements:

• Bloc State Management
• UX and UI skills, just some sort of experience with creating user experiences
• MySQL and or other relational database skills
• Must be a self-starter and able to make critical decisions

 
Nice to haves:

• Android experience (Java or Kotlin)
• IOS experience (Swift or Objective C)
• Windows, Linux and Web Flutter experience

 
Qualifications (One or both of the following):

• NQF, N+, A+ qualifications with app writing experience, and/or
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science (BSc Eng or Comp Sci).
