About the Role
The National Sales Manager role at Hewitt Colenbrander Recruitment is a critical position that requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills to drive business growth and profitability. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive national sales strategies, leading and mentoring a nationwide team, and building strong relationships with top clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing comprehensive national sales strategies to increase market share and profitability.
- Leading, mentoring, and coaching a nationwide team of sales representatives or regional managers to achieve targets.
- Building and maintaining relationships with top clients, negotiating, and closing large, high-value contracts.
- Analyzing performance metrics, market data, and trends to prepare accurate, timely sales forecasts and reports.
- Working closely with marketing and product development teams to ensure brand consistency, successful product launches, and alignment with production capabilities.
- Tracking sales data to identify strengths and weaknesses, adjusting plans to address inadequacies.
- Coordinating with production and logistics to meet customer demands for manufactured goods.
- Possessing in-depth knowledge of products/services to support the sales team in technical negotiations.
- Building relationships with major distributors or direct clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
