About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Sales Executive to join our team in Durban, responsible for driving new business opportunities within the clearing and forwarding sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the clearing and forwarding sector
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and needs analysis
- Prepare and present tailored logistics solutions, quotes, and proposals
- Negotiate rates and service agreements in line with company margins
- Work closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and reporting
- Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments
Requirements
- 56 years proven experience in new business sales within clearing and forwarding / freight forwarding
- Strong understanding of import, export, customs clearance, and logistics services
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
Qualifications
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
