Durban: Plant Accountant posted by Staff Solutions

• Factory Cost Analysis and budget Management – Analysis of standard costs to actual 
• Monitoring of Plant Expenses and investigating of variances 
• Analyze all financial records and assist in the consolidation of the Financials 
• Compilation and analysis of Daily Report 
• Monitoring of manufacturing statistics and investigation where required 
• Inventory Oversight – monitor daily stock movement, assistance in cycle counts and yearend stock take 
• Ensure effective internal controls and assistance with closing out Audit Findings 
• Monitor Plant Operations against approved SOP’s 
• Assist with compiling Plant Budgets and Forecasts 
• Perform various ad-hoc tasks as required.

Job Requirements: 

• B. Com (Man Accountant) / B-Tech in Management Accounts or equivalent 
• 4 years’ experience in Finance 
• Excel Proficient 
• JDE added advantage.
