Durban: Production Co-Ordinator (Clothing)

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate all production activities to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met. Create and maintain production schedules, timelines, and tracking sheets. Communicate daily with factories, suppliers, and internal departments to monitor production progress. Manage sample approvals, fit sessions, and pre-production requirements. Ensure all materials, trims, and labels are ordered and delivered on schedule. Monitor fabric, trims, and garment quality at various stages of production. Follow up on order status, lead times, and potential delays, proactively resolving issues. Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, and production updates. Liaise with the quality control team to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Prepare production reports and assist with workflow planning. Requirements: Matric Diploma or certificate in Clothing Production, Fashion Technology, or related field (advantageous). Minimum 35 years experience in a clothing production or manufacturing environment. Experience working with local or offshore suppliers is beneficial.
