About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Toolmaker to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex tools for injection moulding and plastics manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build CNC machining tools and moulds
Maintain and repair existing tools and equipment
Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient production
Operate CNC machines and perform quality control checks

Requirements

5 years of experience as a Qualified Toolmaker in plastics manufacturing or injection moulding
Proficient in CAD CAM software and programming languages
Strong knowledge of CNC machining techniques and tool fabrication
Valid driver’s license and own transport required for site visits
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

Relevant Tertiary Education (e.g. National Diploma or degree) required
Red Seal Trade Test in Toolmaking

Salary & Benefits

Basic salary of up to R 280 per hour, negotiable based on experience. Overtime benefits available for qualified candidates.
