Responsibilities:
General Manager all GP StoresRequired to work between all storesRepairs and Maintenance of StoresHRoInterviewing candidates for potential store employeesoSigning of Contracts with new staff membersoIssuing of WarningsoResolving Issues with Managers and staffoCommission CalculationsoArranging for Suppliers to train staff on new or existing rangesoImplementing new system to make things run more smoothlyMARKETINGoBuilding up of a client database within the storesFor contacting on promotionsFor back orders for stock still to arriveoLiaising with Marketing department to for the followingAttending of events to sell products and market the brandsCreate a schedule of events to be attended throughout the yearCoordinate marketing in store with online and social media marketingOPERATIONSoEnsure all staff know the company procedures and policesoCo-ordinating repairs of products for clothing, watches, sunglasses etc.oMonitor all communications groups between staff and ensure all comply with the company policesoEnsuring all store managers report a monthly check list for any issues in store that need to be fixed or replaced and ensure the list is attended to within the month or report to management if there is a delayoEnsure all contractors used in store comply with the companies wishes and ensure they do what is requiredoOversee all contractors billing and ensure everything paid for is done and working and contractors are held accountable for any issues on their workSTOCKoEnsure managers are made accountable for stock takes or cycles counts done in storeoEnsure managers are made accountable for stock requisitions and IBTs sent and received from storesoEnsure managers are made accountable for all items being priced accurately against the system within the stores and that they confirm pricing is loaded on the systemoEnsure full accountability of stock takes or cycles counts of who is performing the counts of what sectionoEnsure a monthly stock take is performed in all locationsoEnsure that daily cycle counts are done on smaller sections each dayoStock aging report needs to be sent out monthlyoStock fulfilment reports need to be done monthly on categories or items that are going to be out of stockoRandom spot checks in store to be done to audit actual counts preformed on store weeklySALESoSet financial year budgets which is linked to budgets per store and per sales member.oMonitor Sales Teams targets and help staff members to the best of your ability reach their targetsoReport back any reason why sales team cant meet their targets to managementoTraining of Staff in Products/Selling/ProcessesoHandled or ensure all Customer Queries/Stock Requests/Complaints are handled in a timely manneroAuthorising of discounts in store when discounts other than the system discounts are used.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Pastel Evolution mustExcel mustAbility to work in a high-pressure environmentAbility to work retail hoursFluent in English and AfrikaansKnowledge and experience in sales of exclusive brandsValid Drivers License
