Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily work activities of painters and builders on-site.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with building codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor work progress, and address any defects or issues.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient site operations.
- Train and guide workers in proper techniques, safety procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project timelines and requirements are met.
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation of work completed and any challenges encountered.
Requirements:
- Must come from the building and construction industry and have experience overseeing QC for builders and painters
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a supervisory role
- Own vehicle and valid drivers licence preferably
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, coatings, masonry, and general construction work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
- Valid driver’s license (if site travel is required).
