Job Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to be able to ensure compliance with relevant specifications and production targets and ensure continuous production for the positioning and erection of structures specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Checks shuttering scaffolding and support.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and material lists.
• Using fish-line, measuring tape, plumb-bob and multi-square.
• Requisitions materials.
• Prepare access e.g. wheel barrow and runs and scaffolding.
• Complies with Health and Safety requirements.
• Operating in accordance with safe working procedures.
• Using personal protective equipment provided.
• Performing other duties such as placing screeds, patching and grouting.
• Housekeeping:  Daily inspection of cleanliness and general housekeeping.  Daily sign off that all activities under their control is completed and that the site has been cleaned and left in a safe and secure state.

Qualifications and Experience / Minimum Requirements:

• ABET 3 / Grade 7
• Diploma / RPL / Valid Certificate
• 3 or more years’ experience
• Understanding of the site environment
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
• Knowledge of relevant company policies, processes and procedures
• Experience with WTP, Water Retaining Pump Stations, Reservoirs and Pipelines
