Job Summary
Our client, a retail “giant” multinational group, are looking for Digital Learning and Experience Design for their stores across various regions. MAIN JOB PURPOSE To manage the administrative function in stores in Finance and HR thereby ensuring correct processes to minimise risk and increase profitability KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage payroll to optimize productivity and control wage cost Manage general HR administration to ensure data integrity and accurate record retention Manage cash activities to ensure controlled cash handling environment Manage Financial (expense) and general administration for reconciliation and retention purposes Ensure maintenance of all Systems, Methods and Procedures (SMPs) Review the actioning of key financial controls and admin processes in commercial areas to prevent losses Continuously improve (add value) to efficiency of systems / procedures / controls across all store areas to affect profitability Commercial management function during peak periods, late trading and weekends KEY COMPETENCIES Technical Skills: Commercial acumen Numeracy Trend analysis / Forecasting Behavioral Skills: Relationship management, People management § Planning and Co-ordinating Problem solving, Assertive and proactive Monitoring and Controlling Integrity, Attention to detail Living the Woolworths brand: personal leadership and attitude § Action and results driven, Attention to detail MINIMUM ROLE REQUIREMENTS Entry Requirement: Grade 12 or NQF3 completed. Financial and or Retail Management Diploma would be highly advantages 2-5 years role experience as a Store Admin Department Manager in Retail Retail experience highly advantageous Team Management would be advantageous Leadership and Management experience would be advantages Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements
