About the Role

As a Sales Consultant in our Durban office, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for managing customer interactions, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our products to schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and manage customer interactions using historical data and planned visits; use reports to maintain service quality and control budgets
  • Identify customer needs, present suitable solutions, prepare for calls, introduce products, and follow up
  • Maintain accurate records, process orders, update customer data, and manage quotations, contracts, and expense reports
  • Resolve queries, provide product information, and manage delivery arrangements, including stock and delivery issues
  • Conduct daily customer visits with professionalism
  • Achieve sales targets
  • Ensure accurate order processing and contract updates
  • Handle calls promptly and courteously
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Matric (and a Sales/Marketing Diploma preferred)
  • 5 years relevant sales experience

Qualifications

  • Valid drivers license
  • Computer literacy
  • CRM know-how
  • Strong communication customer service skills
  • Sales & planning abilities
  • Business calculations (GP, ratios)
