Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Fixed Asset Register: Implement and update the asset register in Sage X3 V12.
- CapEx Reviews: Analyze CapEx requests, conduct financial calculations, recommend prioritization, and monitor projects.
- Support to Management Accountant: Assist with financial reporting and budgeting, preparing analyses, and transitioning into a Management Accountant role.
- Financial Analysis: Assess business processes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and participate in financial projects.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency improvements.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams to gather and analyze financial data.
Requirements
- Matric and an Accounting Degree.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment
