Position: Abnormal Load Permit Consultant The role may be most suitable for an individual accustomed to male-dominated operational environment Overall Purpose of the Role The Abnormal Load Permit Consultant will support the daily operations of the company by managing and coordinating all activities related to abnormal load movements. This includes preparing and submitting permit applications, liaising with authorities and clients, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing guidance on route planning and movement requirements. The consultant will play a key role in ensuring the safe, legal, and efficient transport of abnormal loads while delivering high-quality service to our clients. Responsibilities: Scanning documents and handling general administrative queries Answering telephone calls and assisting clients General office duties and admin support Liaising with courier companies for collections and deliveries Preparing quotations when required Communicating with clients in a professional and timeous manner Compiling and submitting abnormal load permit applications JOB REQUIREMENTS: Attention to detail accuracy & able to multitask. MUST Fluent in English & Afrikaans Strong communication skills Computer Literacy Able to work under pressure Able to think outside the box Ability to work independently Valid driver license with own transport Matric Punctual Dependable Trustworthy Must be able to start ASAP Working hours 7:30 4:30pm Please note that we work from a residential area.
