About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Code 10 / Code 14 driver with a PDP to join our team at a wholesale food company based in Zwelitsha. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering customer orders safely and efficiently, ensuring that all deliveries meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain vehicle housekeeping at the required standard at all times
Always abide with the National Road Traffic Act Regulations
Monitor and report on any mechanical failures, problems or defects on the vehicle immediately
Delivering customer orders accurately, as per invoice
Build strong relationships with customers’ receiving staff
Daily collection of Chep pallets at customers and suppliers and ensure that the physical quantity corresponds with the Chep notes
Provide a daily debriefing when returning to the depot
Maintain strict adherence to the company’s Motor Vehicle Policy

Requirements

A minimum of Grade 12
Valid unendorsed Code 10 and/or Code 14 Driver’s license with a PDP is an inherent requirement of the job
A minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
Mechanical knowledge is required to change tyres, lightbulbs and to attend to other basic maintenance of the vehicle

Qualifications
