Job Summary

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: B. Degree (3 years) / NQF Level 7 essential 7 years of operational execution experience within an FMCG environment (essential), with a strong focus on logistics and warehousing, as well as staff management Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and logistics software solutions SAP experience essential The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Regional logistics operations, distribution, financial management, and corporate governance standards Provide strategic leadership / operational management across regional warehouse and logistic functions Drive warehouse excellence, ensuring stock accuracy, loss minimization, efficient space utilization, and leading cost optimization initiatives Ensuring the safety, security, and wellbeing of all logistics operations Manage the distribution center and regional logistics network to align the FMCG environment Lead distribution processes and ensure alignments with customer requirements Distribution planning and collaboration with transport partners Oversee distribution center and implement warehousing standards, process improvement and ensure stock cycle counts are conducted Drive logistics financial management, lead regions month end close process Ensure SHEQ compliance, develop safety protocols, audit logistics operations and champion continuous improvement initiatives Internal/external customer satisfaction and engage with stakeholders Develop/execute regional logistics strategies
