About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team in East London. As a key member of our manufacturing floor, you will be responsible for operating machinery, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. If you have a strong background in machine operation and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Operate machinery as required by production schedules
Perform basic repairs and maintenance on all machines
Conduct fault finding as part of operational duty
Support the assembly line and packing line
Complete hourly check sheets and daily scrap sheets
Ensure quality plans, product drawings, and BOMs are adhered to

Requirements

Experience as a Machine Operator with in-house training
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
Computer literate
Knowledge of GARP and OEE system
Must be willing to work shifts

Qualifications

Matric certificate
